The Firpangen Project team had the pleasure of attending Homines, Funera, Astra conference held in Alba Iulia, Romania. This year’s intriguing theme, “Have You Lost Your Head: From Prehistory to the Middle Ages,” brought together scholars exploring diverse aspects of past human life and death.
During the conference, we presented our latest research on infectious diseases, diet, and taphonomy, contributing to a vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives.
We left Alba Iulia inspired and grateful for the engaging discussions, shared insights, and the strong sense of community that defines this event year after year.
